Few
Moments In Time

I live in extreme
weightiness,
Sand dunes of time
and emptiness;
There is a way out
here,
From darkness;
light! not to fear;
Today I ll follow
the pole star,
I might find the cradle of life,
I sojourn in chaos;
There is a way to
calmness;
Pretentious living,
Needs that
soothing balm;
There was no
sound,
But a jail breaks
in Kansas
town!
The horses were
strong and well fed,
In this war torn
land;
Ammunition mastered
to the core;
Armageddon in the shore;
The flight from
the holy land is a waste;
Blood has colour
and taste;
In peace the death
rest!

This one is quite intense. A dark verse of life and peace.
@Saru Singhal Thank you Saru :)
I perceive a dark despair in the poem. Touching, needs 'soothing palm'
Blood has colour and taste...
and people seem to be enjoying the colour and taste!
@Arumugam Easwar Thank you SIr for your kind words....its a minimalism trying to decipher today's chaos
@Tomichan Matheikal you are right,,,people seem to be enjoying the colour and taste....unknown motives
Notion of God descending upon metamorphic Armageddon is both exciting and despairing at the same time. Exciting that t shall be end of evil, despairing because it will death itself, end of world. Does that mean, violence and evil can not be destroyed till the end of world.
@Meenakshi Malhotra Evil is nothing but impurity in relationships...between people, states, nations....this will end,,,,
there was a sense of seriousness in the entire poem as if written in anxiety about something bitter...!!!
Yes Anjan...its a serious doctrine of today :-)
